HOW WE STARTED
Guiding Light Ministries Healing Rooms began in November 2004 as a part of Maranatha Assembly of God under the direction of Larry Duncan. In September, 2008 we became a separate non-profit organization.
OUR MISSION
Our ministry team is here to serve the community and the body of Christ while contending for all that Christ has promised the church.
OUR TEAM MEMBERS
- are Christian volunteers from a number of local churches
- have been trained to minister to you through prayer. We are ready to pray in faith and believe God for miracles in your life.
- go to hospitals and nursing homes upon request.
WE BELIEVE:
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
- Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
- And these signs shall follow those who believe... they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover (Mark 16:18).
- And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven (James 5:14, 15).
